Why does Skin Collagen Support not contain any collagen?

As skin researchers, we focus on promoting the production of "healthy" collagen. When we consume collagen through our diet, it breaks down into amino acids, the essential building blocks for various bodily structures, including skin. To ensure these amino acids are effectively reassembled into collagen, the body relies on vitamins, notably vitamins A and C, known as co-factors. While we often consume sufficient protein for amino acids, we may lack the necessary factors at times to facilitate this process.

MSM: Methyl-sulfonyl-methane (more commonly known as ‘MSM’) is a rich, natural source of organic sulfur that is safely (and efficiently) digested and absorbed by the human body. It has been fondly referred to as one of nature’s beauty minerals, helping to maintain and replenish the collagen in our skin to keep it smooth, supple and bright.

Super Oxide Dismutase: French melon extract is high in super antioxidant SOD (Super Oxide Dismutase). SOD levels decline with age.

Vitamin C: Contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
