Thoroughly melt away layers of excess sebum (oil), sunscreen, waterproof makeup, environmental pollutants and residual products that build up on skin throughout the day with this first step in your cleansing regime.

How It Works

Thoroughly melt away layers of excess sebum (oil), sunscreen, waterproof makeup, environmental pollutants and residual products that build up on skin throughout the day with skin fortifying Borage Seed, Kukui and Apricot oils. Add water to transform this hydrophilic (water-loving) formula into a milky emulsion that easily rinses debris from the skin’s surface, allowing your prescribed Dermalogica Cleanser to penetrate even further for professional cleansing results. Formulated with conditioning Rice Bran and Vitamin E oils, this gentle blend offers a deep cleansing ideal even for oily skin conditions.

Best makeup remover

The Dermalogica PreCleanse is the best makeup remover I have ever used. I loved it so much I purchased the large size after using it once. Gently removes all makeup including mascara with so much ease. It smells divine and does not leave your eyes stinging like some brands. Seriously worth the money, I cannot rate this product high enough.

Game Changer

I was recommended this as part of a double cleanse solution for my sensitive skin, and my goodness has it changed everything! I'm experiencing significantly less redness and flakiness when used with the Daily Milkfoliant. I can't recommend this product enough.

Removes everything

I’ve used this product for over 16 years. My skin has changed a lot in that time but this will always be a must to remove all my make up & oil at the end of the day whether it’s just some bb cream & mascara or a full face, this gets it all off so my cleanser can treat my skin. It’s also gentle enough to use of my kids after dancing concerts or washing off face paint.
