A bit about myself I have sensitive skin after adopting a dog who I am allergic to. Not wanting to give the dog away I take medication and use mostly Ultra-calming products i.e., in the past I had [actually still have] Barrier Repair and Calm Water Gel in my skincare collection. This is my third bottle of Stabilizing Repair Cream and I have found both Pros and Cons with the product.
Pros: it doesn't irritate my skin and goes on and dries easily [much better than Calm Water Gel]. The product doesn't have much of a spell which is what I want in a sensitive care product. My skin does feels moisturized afterwards.
Cons: For the size of the bottle this product doesn't come cheap. They recommend using it morning and night to get the best results which means you are going through a bottle a lot faster than their regular moisturisers i.e., Intensive Moisture Balance. I don't see a permanent change after three bottles, but my skin hasn't become worse.
Conclusion: I will buy it again but rather than have it as my everyday product I will use it on those bad days when my skin feels like it has been washed in sandpaper, and it needs something calming. While I don't think it has permanently repaired my skin it is a great product . Overall I recommend giving it a go I was not disappointed.
