Q. How do I apply Long Lashes?
A. Before applying Long Lashes:
- Ensure the eye area is clean and dry.
- Shake the tube well and remove any excess product by wiping it on the inside of the tube.
- Apply the product to your upper lash line (where the roots of your lashes meet your eyelid) and allow it to seep into your lash follicles.
Let the product completely dry before applying eye makeup.
Q. How often do I apply Long Lashes?
A. Apply Long Lashes once or twice daily for the first 10-12 weeks, then every two days for ongoing maintenance.
Q. What is the difference between Long Lashes and other eyelash enhancers?
A. Long Lashes is HORMONE-FREE and does NOT contain any prostaglandins linked to side effects such as - change in iris colour, darkening of eyelid colour, inflammation around the eyes, dry eye, redness, itching and watering.
Synthetic prostaglandins have many different names, a few common ones used in serums are: Isopropanol Phenyl-hydroxy-pentene Dihydroxy-cyclopentyl-heptenate (Isopropyl cloprostenate); Dechloro Dihydroxy Difluoro Ethylcloprostenolamide and Bitamoprost.
Long Lashes does NOT CONTAIN: Hormones, Petrochemicals, Parabens, Sulphates, Phthalates, Sodium Chloride, Palm Oil, Ethanolamine Compounds (MEA, DEA, TEA), Gluten or Artificial Colours.
Q. What if I wear contact lenses?
A. We suggest using Long Lashes at night after you have taken your lenses out for the day.
Q. What if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
A. Long Lashes has not been tested on pregnant or breastfeeding mothers; therefore, please consult your physician first.
Q. What if I'm having cancer treatment?
A. Always check with your treating doctor first. We recommend you wait six months after your final chemotherapy treatment before using Long Lashes as it may restrict the product from working to its full potential. We also suggest you start slowly and commence using Long Lashes every two days, to ensure no sensitivity is occurring due to the cancer treatment.
Q. What if I have eyelash extensions?
A. You can still use Long Lashes even with eyelash extensions, however, please wait two days after having your extensions applied, to ensure the glue has dried properly. Remember to apply the product to your eyelid skin and not your actual lashes. By using Long Lashes every second day, the vitamins will help strengthen and lengthen your lashes to create a support structure to attach the extensions to, all whilst protecting your own lashes from the glue and weight of the extensions.
Q. What if my eyes become sensitive?
A. Although Long Lashes ingredients are gentle, some people may experience mild sensitivity when commencing their use of Long Lashes; if this occurs, it is usually due to over applying the product, so please cease use until symptoms have subsided.
Once the eye area has returned to normal, you can restart the use of Long Lashes every second day. Your results may take a little longer, but they will still work. If your eyes are still sensitive to the product, we recommend discontinuing use.
Q. When will I see results?
A. You should start to notice results within 4-8 weeks with the full effect taking place around 12 weeks.
After this period, we suggest you apply Long Lashes every two days for maintenance, to keep your lashes long and full. If you stop using the product, your lashes will eventually return to their initial natural state, so keep applying it regularly for optimum results.
*Results may vary with each individual. Medications and medical conditions may slow results (thyroid in particular).
Is Long Lashes Vegan, Gluten-Free and/or Cruelty-Free?
